Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act. This is often called the “mind/body connection.” When you are stressed, anxious or upset, your body tries to tell you that something isn’t right. For example, high blood pressure or a stomach ulcer might develop after a particularly stressful event, such as the death of a loved one.

Kinesiology is a partnership between therapist and client that reads messages the body is sending through where it holds tension and stress. Once we pay attention to what our bodies know, we have a much better chance of becoming whole again.

Based on the modality I work with relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, learning and behavioural challenges can be related to many areas, from thought patterns, emotional patterns, the physical body,  where stored emotions can be triggered into activity again, this can be due to a number of things such as a traumatic event, stress, non action, action, or other factors.
Between my studies, research and experience with my own clients and students, it has become even more clear how the body is part of the mind. There really is no way to separate the two. When we are born, as a baby we are a full expression of ourselves, we then learn that certain behaviours and activities are not acceptable, based on the adults in our lives and their past experiences. This is not to say that there is any blame on them, it is how we responded to their actions that are the cause of our current stress. 
I work to explore these factors and balance areas of your body that are out of alignment in relation to your presenting disharmony, this could include, but not be limited to: Muscle imbalances, structural imbalances, Brain function, cranial sacral imbalances, energetic imbalances, etc. 
In clinic, I work with you from this perspective, I and work on integrating, any areas that are identified, as part of my initial intake, your history and our ongoing clinic work.
Based on my findings I work in conjunction with you to implement the actions that will move you from where you are currently to where you would most like to be in relation to your current disharmony, both at home and in session.
